Tortang Puso ng Saging

An omelette dish made of banana blossoms, singkamas, eggs, and seasoned with Mama Sita’s Oyster Sauce.

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chopped puso ng saging and squeeze out the excess water.
  2. Sauté the garlic and onions, then add the banana blossoms and Mama Sita’s Pang-Gisa Mix. Cook until the puso ng saging is tender.
  3. Add singkamas, wansoy and kutsay. Stir-fry.
  4. Remove from heat. Set aside to cool before adding eggs and spring onions.
  5. Form into small patties (2½-inch in diameter) and pan- fry. Serve with Soy-Ginger sauce.
