Mama Sita’s Pata Humba Sauce
A sweet-savory medley of soy sauce, sugar, and aromatics that makes for an excellent braising sauce for the classic humba. Simply braise meat by browning and then simmering with Mama Sita’s Humba Sauce. To go oil-free, just boil the meat with Mama Sita’s Humba Sauce and simmer until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened. Serve with hard-boiled egg, steamed bok choy (Chinese pechay), and slices of fried saba bananas.
